Building Beyond the Screen

During three years at Kavak, my role expanded across an unusually wide range of creative and technical challenges — from advertising, motion graphics and post-production to 3D visualization, production and large-scale audiovisual experiences.

As the brand grew, so did the ways it needed to communicate. My work moved across screens, formats and eventually physical spaces, combining design, motion, production and technology to turn ideas into experiences that could actually be deployed.

01 — A BRAND IN MOTION
Designing for a Fast-Moving Brand

Working inside a fast-growing brand meant constantly adapting ideas across campaigns, formats and channels. I developed and animated visual assets for digital advertising, social media and commercial content, combining typography, product imagery, compositing and motion to keep communication clear while giving each campaign its own personality.

Editing the Brand in Motion

Video opened another side of the work. Depending on the piece, my role moved across editing, color, motion graphics, compositing, effects and transitions — shaping footage and graphic elements into concise stories built for digital and traditional media.

The approach changed from campaign to campaign, but the objective remained consistent: make the message immediate without sacrificing rhythm or visual craft.

03 — BUILDING WHAT DIDN’T EXIST
3D as a Production Tool
04 — BEYOND THE SCREEN
Turning Onboarding Into an Experience

One of the largest projects I developed at Kavak began with a different kind of question: how could the onboarding experience become something people could actually step into?

I led the creative development of an audiovisual videomapping experience combining production, greenscreen shooting, editing, motion graphics, 3D animation and projection design into a single piece created for Kavak’s customer centers.

The content wasn’t designed for a conventional screen. Every composition had to account for the architecture, projection surface, viewing position and physical dimensions of the installation.

2D, 3D, live-action and graphic elements were therefore built as parts of the environment rather than layers inside a traditional frame.

05 — FROM ONE EXPERIENCE TO A SYSTEM

Designed Once. Deployed Across Mexico.

  • Building the experience was only part of the challenge. It also had to work reliably across more than 20 Kavak locations throughout Mexico.

  • I helped implement the installations and developed a remote supervision workflow using dedicated IP cameras and remote desktops, allowing the systems to be monitored, adjusted and troubleshot without requiring an on-site visit for every change.

Creative Problems Don’t Stay in One Medium

Kavak became one of the projects that most expanded the way I think about creative work.

What began across design, editing and motion gradually moved into 3D, production, physical spaces and technical infrastructure. Each new challenge required a different tool, workflow or way of thinking.

The medium changed. The job remained the same: find a way to make the idea work.
