3D Visualization

Building Beyond the Frame

3D gives me a different kind of freedom.

Sometimes I use it to visualize a product, sometimes to build a character, create an impossible environment or design something meant to live beyond a conventional screen.

Over the years, I’ve worked across modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, animation and rendering — combining 3D with motion design, compositing and live experiences depending on what the idea needs.

The tool changes. The goal stays the same: build the world the idea needs.

Objects, Characters & Worlds

Some projects begin with a product that needs to feel tangible. Others start with an abstract idea, a character or an environment that couldn’t exist anywhere else.

That’s what keeps 3D interesting to me: the same set of tools can move between precise visualization and complete experimentation.

Beyond the Screen

3D becomes particularly interesting when the final image isn’t meant for a conventional frame.

For Kavak, I designed and animated 3D content as part of an immersive videomapping experience deployed across 20 locations in Mexico — where vehicles, graphics and environments were built around the physical architecture of the installation.

Still Exploring

3D has been part of my work for years, but it still feels like one of the areas where there’s always something new to learn — another material, simulation, technique or way of combining it with the rest of my practice.

Sometimes I need to visualize an idea.
Sometimes I need to build the place where that idea can exist.
